i like the sound of my factory sidepipes but wish they passed a little more air. anyone ever just cut a chambered section out and weld in straight pipe. was thinking that might flow a little better but don't know what the change in sound wll be.
Check out the larger diameter pipes from Sweet Thunder. Near the bottom of the page. The largest ones will pass some serious air and still fit under the stock covers.

I am using a set of these inside my Hooker sidepipes. I made them from a Classic Chambered muffler before Classic Chamberd made them as insterts. Here's a look through the muffler.
