Paint Question
I just had my 63 Painted Ermine White according to the Corvette paint codes listed on the corvettepaintcodes.com web. THe question is
for anyone with this colour, does it have a slightly off white finish
as opposed to a newer bright white. Feedback appreciated.

Joe Santacroce went through that last year.
His first try the paint was too white. He had to tone it down a bit to match the original, which was a little creamier than the refrigerator white he was supplied.

"I got 2 gallons of PPG Duracryl Ermine White Lacquer from Autocolor last year. Unfortuntately the color wasn't even close. We ended up mixing a gallon of RM white lacquer with it to get it to match the original color under the windshield molding. We also had trouble spotting it in afterwards to do some touch-up."
