Anyone have any pics of a C1 chassis? how were they?I know they used a solid rear. What kind of front setyp did the use?

Here is a picture of a '59 chassis. Solid axle with leaf springs in rear. Unequal length A-arms, coils springs, king pins in front.

It was basically the same front suspension that GM phased out as being obsolete on their passenger cars in 1954, but was used on Corvettes until 1962!
