original front end

Default original front end
I was told that you can tell an original front end by the dimples in the drip rail. Where are they and what do they look like any pix would be appreciated.

If I recall, you need to look just above the front wheels on the top of the fender. They look like little dots. At least on a 60.

On a midyear there is one dimple. It's in the drip rail just in front of the drivers side wiper vent. Sometimes they wind up getting sanded down when repainted. If you know where it is you may still be able to see it. If it is untouched you can't miss it.

That little dude can be added quite easily. I wouldnt let that be the determining factor. Its on the 13 Th. rib BTW.
