Rear differential numbers
I'm trying to find out what kind of rear end I have in my 65 convertible. On the back is 3871375. By the passenger side half shaft is G 13 4. On the bottom is AWW 305 E 2. Any help on identifying these would be greatly appreciated.

65 diff codes...
The bottom code is what your after. For 65 SB you should see a XXMMDD code. The xx codes are:
AK = 3.36 STD
AL = 3.08 Posi
AM = 3.36 Posi
AN = 3.55 Posi
AO = 3.70 Posi
AP = 4.11 Posi
AQ = 4.56 posi
AR = 3.08 std
AS = 3.70 std
The AW code is called for in a 1968-69 H.D. 3.08 427 ppliction

"AW" started in '68, and was used in most years from then through '75 as a 3.08 Posi; yours was built on the 305th day of (?) year. The diff housing nose (not the rear cover) has a casting number on the passenger side just above the horizontal "fin", and the casting date code is on the driver's side, just above the camber strut rod bracket; those two numbers will nail down exactly what it is.
