Tach cable problem
My tach cable in my '63 broke at the square red plastic drive input shaft where it goes into the back of the tack. How do I get the little shaft out of the back of the tach to install the new cable? Great forum. The more I use it, the more informative it becomes.

Heat up the end of a paper clip nice and hot and stick it into the end of the square plastic piece that's still in the tach input; when it cools, the plastic piece will come out with the paper clip.
