Default Plug Wires

I tuned up my 63 roadster last night. I installed a moroso high output coil, new plugs and moroso plug wires. My old wires were original style and were fed from the distributor under the exhaust manifold to the plugs. The new wires were shorter. In some cases two or three inches shorter. I couldn't install them the same way. I mounted them on top of the engine. But now I'm concerned about them touching the valve covers or the exhaust manifold. I think if I buy spreaders, it will raise them enough that they won't touch anything. Does anyone have any pictures of plug wires with spreaders? Also is it possible that I have the wrong wires? It does start quicker. I think the coil made a big difference. Thanks in advance for any replies.

Thanks. The picture helped alot. Sorry I can't post a picture of mine. We just bought a new digital camera and I don't know how to use it. After looking at your picture, I re-routed a few wires and put the spreaders on both sides. It looks much better, but I still think I have to switch two wires. I have slightly too much slack on the second wire on the passenger side. Thanks again.

Small block wires are sold in two types, under the exaust or over. you got the over which are shorter.
