Default Follow up on '58 & '62/63 T-10 question....

Hey folks,

Another question-- This T-10 and tailhousing is from a '62 or '63. Since I am planning on rebuilding (original post was '58 T-10 slipping out of Second gear' or something like that), what would be the differential on the value of a numbers-correct '58 T-10 to replace it and the sale of the '63? In short, how much more valuable and difficult to find is a '58 vs. a '62/63?

In case anyone is interested, the '63 is a T-10 D*1, stamped WE2732. The tail housing is a T-10 7D, R-2, 4-15-63. I am not sure if the maincase is a 62 or a 63 so any info on it would be helpful....

Just for the record, I am not offering the tranny up for sale, just trying to gauge interest....

thanks in advance,

Ken

57-58 T-10s are very hard to find. A friend a few year ago took the plunge and paid $4K for a dated 58 T-10.

Thanks Donald-- so are 63 T-10's cheap in comparison or could I upgrade for a "net" of a grand or so?

Thanks,

Ken
