Default 60 schematic/wiring help

Ok, my turn signal dilemma continues...

The driver's front parking light hasn't worked since I bought the car so, since it was pitted, I bought new ones and installed them. Still nothing. So I got the ST-12 out and traced the dk blue to the turn signal switch and the violet to the light switch and of course, blk is grd. The questions I have are:

1) if neither the turn signal nor the parking light work, is the ground wire the likely suspect? I ask because I'm assuming if it was one of the other wires, that the blinker or the parking light would work with a good ground connection since they are independent and each circuit has its own power. Is this correct?

2) also, if one of the blinkers does not work, does it throw the 3 others off or cause them not to work correctly? I ask this because my other parking light blinks fine but the tail lights blink like emergency flashers on both left and right settings. ...and I know they didn't have emergency flashers in 1960 cars LOL!

BTW, I've replaced the turn signal switch and the brake light switch so far, neither of which were causing my rear 'emergency flashers'; the only thing left is the rear harness which is next on the list. As usual, your assistance is greatly appreciated.

Default So no one know the answer?

Surely someone knows the answer or has run across this on a C1...

I think I dealt with every wiring issue on a C1 that can exist, and I am still confused.

Volt ohm meter, buy one, about $20 or so at Radio shack.

Check your grounds and ground wires for continuity, make sure ground is grounded, check voltage on the hot wires to make sure juice is getting to the light, replace your rear harness, it is easier than trying to sort out a wiring mess. Check your grounds, as that can cause all your lights to blink from feedback

Default C1 wiring

Check for:
1. power 12v on sockets pin?? (Parking light switch on)
2. Check socket side for ground connections.
I think the violet color wire should be power supply from your light switch.

3. There shoulkd be a disconnect in front of radiatior. Suggest tracing grounds and power from here next.

I'll try help, I casn't claim to be an expert tho..
