Default Air Cleaner

Does anyone know if a 1965 L79 air cleaner will fit on a zz4 with a 650 Demon? The carb is a vac sec type.

I think it will fit if you remove the choke assembly. Demon chokes fit outside the air inlet of the carb. The diameter otherwise should be the same as the Holley.

It should fit. I think Sky is thinking about an Edelbrock or AFB.

I know the 650 Mechanical secondary BG Speed Demon will fit with minimal persuasion. You will have to cut the Holley locating tangs from the front of the air cleaner base and then the persuasion part comes to play. You will have to clearance the base with a ball pein hammer this is a very small amount though. Dave

My bad.
You all are right. I just re-read the instruction manual for my SD 750. The modification is minimal.

Sorry.
