Loose Mirrors
I have a 63 SWC that has loose mirrors (both rear view and driver door) they are loose at the pivet ball and socket. Any good ideas on how to tighten then up with out damaging them?

There are a lot of threads on this.
One way is to get some blue loctite (or permatex napa/pep boys brand and work it into the ball joint, then wipe off the excess.)
Worked great for me.
FYI .... don't be discouraged as a 'newbie' if you don't get many responses sometimes ...DO learn how to search the archives for subjects, there are all the commonly asked questions in there.
(Sometimes people just don't take the time to answer the same question week after week)
