Turn signal assemblies are odd ducks. Once something goes wrong, it's all downhill from there. My suggestion would to be just bite the bullet and replace the entire assembly. Next thing your brake lights won't work, or whatever. They are definitely a PITA.....

That is interesting. My turn signal switch will not stay engaged either. I ordered a new switch anyway. I had no idea there was just a screw to tighten. I have the AIM, I will take a look. Can you clarify what screw you are tightening?

I have heard that 67 turn signal switch replacements are hard to find to purchase...Is this true? Does anyone know where I can pick one up? Also, is it recommended to lube this signal switch in any areas and with what used for the lube?
