Default Carb Question

I Have A Carb That Doesn't Make Sense-main Body #is 0-1552, Air Horn Is 6-1518, And Choke Is 170-786. Seems Ok To There But The Base Stamp Is G9 3721sb. What The Hadees Do I Have??it Is Supposed To Be Original For My Nov Of 62 Swc. Looks Like Bs????thanks For Any Help, Hb

it is a carter afb #3721sb from a 1964 & 1965 chevy (corvette)327 or a replacement part# for 1962 & 1963

No big deal. My '63 has a 3721sb date code L3 (November 63 as "i" was not used for carb ID...January being A) Being an April car I can assume it was a replacement as olescarb has noted. Check that G9 code again....G is July but the 9 could be a ??? It's possible that your swc had a carb replacement (under warranty?) as well.
