Ok, here is the latest. Hmmm, looks like all of the red was not removed like the bodyshop promised the last time the car was painted 10 years ago. Sure am glad they charged me for stripping the entire car though when they didnt. Always ask for pictures!!! Anyway, here it is. not finished yet, but close to being bare naked.

Note how the rear deck is white fiberglass instead of gray. I guess my car really did get the crap rearended out of it at some point in time. That would explain why the frame was bent etc etc.

Your making great progress! Mine goes in the shop in 2 weeks to get the new jig fit nose clip and remaining glass work done. Can't wait to have a "whole car." Keep up the great work

Looks familiar. I have my '67 in the paint shop right now. Finally figured out how to post pix, so I guess I'll do it here! Thanks to the Forum members, i can do this. Everyone has been a big help.

Doing a frame-on on my 1967 L79 Coupe, Rally Red, black interior, no A/C , has PB, PS.

Good luck, and stay on top of those guys if you want the job done right. I stop by the shop every day. It's like having a kid in the hospital.

Man, this makes me feel a lot better about not posting in a while. I know what the guys at your body shop feel like, as I am still working off the old layers of primer and bondo that were on my car.
I also know what you mean about different color fiberglass panels?

Thanks for posting... I will soon

Yes, my car is mess on the right side. I think it must have been in at least three or four wrecks. Everything on the driver's side looks original and fits nice.
IF you look at the white glass on the rear deck you can see a repair. It is really noticeable from underneath the car. So either the panel was damaged when they replaced the original or the car was rearended twice. The quarter has been replaced as well, and the front was all screwed up. I think the entire right side was replaced excluding the fender skirt. IT was so damaged when i went to replace it recently that it cracked in half with barely any force.
