I did search the back posts to get my ideas, in fact I started one a while back on the garage. But there are still some good ones in this line. Some of the ones that I wll use are the ceiling outlets and air, not put the air lines in the walls, round vents for exhaust, female posters.....I'm not sure we have them over here, I may have to special order them from USA. I'll have to put more thought into the size of wires.
Lucky for us we don't have tornadoes, or snow. And there would only be a few days we would like to use AC. Heck, we don't even have a fan in the house - cool sea breeze. When I speak of sand dunes, I'm speaking of ancient ones. Meaning that drainage (flooding) is not a problem. But actual sand in not a problem either.
We eat more crayfish here than shrimps, but they go just as well on the barbie. Don't shudder but we drink more Chang beer than Fosters. My wife is Thai and we operate a Thai restaurant - thus the beer is a write off for us!!!! You all are welcome anytime if you can at least lead me in working on the car. I like to have a shoulder to cry on when I stuff up.
I'll TRY to post some pictures of the garage when I start the works. Thanks again for the ideas.
Maybe this was aluded to before, but I would would make sure you have a good ventilation system, not just for exhaust, but for eliminating any fumes from whatevery you're doing in there.
I would also wire for audio and video. Nothing like listening to good tunes when you're working on the car and a tv (when you drinking one of those Fosters ) to watch the game on.

Bud.
My wife's from outside McKay, leading the location question.
The land of OZ is much like the US, it has a little of everything if you look hard enough (VB, XXXX, Emu, Lion, etc.). I was once stuck in Sandfire WA for a week after hitting a bird at 170kph (76' XC Falcon). The Greyhound took the radiator to Broome and the total turnaround was one week. "Sandfire" was an understatement (a one pub caravan park).
