Default "Dargo" Open Trailers???

I'm looking for a 16-18' open "dove tail" car trailer. One that I'm looking at is made by DARGO in Northern Calif. Anybody ever hear of them? The other name I keep coming across is BigTex? It seems that shipping is so expensive that trailer manufactures only cover several states.
Thanks for any help! John

Never heard of them out my way on the East Coast. I own a 16' open Bri-Mar trailer. It is a top of the line steel trailer in this neck of the woods.
Here's the link: www.Bri-Mar.com

This will give you something to at least compare with out your way.

Do a Google search for trailers in your area. There are many small companies who make them.

'Round these parts, Perone Performance makes a NICE trailer.

You should be able to find a local manufacturer, and pick it up. Most have "stock items", but will custom build to your specs, if needed. Chuck

I just got a one from Franks Custom Trailers in Oklahoma City. I ordered an extended one. It's a 20' all steel deck with a 4' dovetail. It is also extra wide and ramps slide into end with metal covers locked with pit pins. It has full length steps in front of and behind the fenders with aluminum treadplate for a little bling. The fenders are about 8" or so high. It has heavy duty recesses D-rings to strap to. Also comes with a Bulldog hitch..much better than stock stuff many trailer places use.

Anyway, I really like it. My '67 with deep oil pan, big headers etc goes right on and off with no issues. Doors open over fenders with plenty of room to clear.
