Default Quarts Clock Problem

Question, My 63 has a quarts clock with a sweeping hand that gets stuck every time the big hand hits 8. It looks brand new, but I don't think the sweeping hand is track the same as the other two. Is it possible to take this thing apart and fix it my self or do I need to send it in? If it is possible for me to fix it do I just pry it apart around the case?

You can fix it...the 63-64 hands sit on the shaft and are crimped to make the tension.Take the clock apart (uncrimp it) and easily bend the hands so they don't touch.if you move them just make sure you put them(all) back aligned with 12 o clock and that will keep the timing on them.

email me if you need any help with this
