Sorry guys, I've been out of town all week without internet access. I put stock bias ply 775-15 redlines on the car that I got from Coker.

I understand that these tires aren't the greatest performance tires available but I wanted to stay as original as possible. That being said, what measurement can I take to see if it's a problem with ride height? Should the front and rear fender wells be at the same height? Right now I'm lower in the front.

Below is the method for checking ride height.
Place the vehicle on a smooth, level floor and bounce and rock the front end several times. Raise vehicle then allow to settle to a normal height.
Next, measure the following 2 distances. (see photo)
a.- From the floor to the center of the inner pivot of the lower control arm.
b.- From the floor to the lower face of the lower steering knuckle boss for the spherical joint....(ball joint??).
The difference between these 2 measurements should be, as outlined below, with the vehicle full of gas, spare tire and jack in place, no passengers.

With 327 or 427..................................... .....2-1/2" +/- 1/2"
327 with A/C or 427 with A/C, PS and PB.........2" +/- 1/2"
327 Convertible w.Hardtop, A/C, PS, PB, Auto ..1-1/2" +/- 1/2"
427 with optional suspension..........................1-1/2" +/- 1/2"
