Frame Shipping
HI ALL,
I am looking into shipping a frame from OREGON to MARYLAND. Does anyone have the name of a good shipping company that won't kill me on the price. The frame will be crated. If anyone has any good names or suggestions I would appriciate it. Any idea how much it would cost.

Most common carrier items shipped LTL (less than truckload) are rated according to what the item is and the volume it takes up in the truck. My guess is that if you declare it as "formed steel" it will cost you a whole lot less than if you declare it as an "Corvette Auto Frame"

It's also cheaper if you ship to the freight terminal near you as opposed to having it delivered to your door.
The driver isn't responsible for unloading. You gotta be there.
If it comes to the freight terminal, you can take a car trailer and go pick it up yourself.
