Healight inner pivot problem
I pulled the headlight motors last weekend and went through them, cleaned, replaced the big gear, regreased and painted the rusty casing. That was fairly simple task. Also had frozen bearings on the left front and a broken left inner pivot. New parts came the middle of the week. When removing the right motor, I had noticed there was no bracket supporting the motor, so had ordered a new one. Struggled the last several nights trying to align the right front motor with the new bracket, with no success. After putting on and taking off a half dozen times, this morning I finally noticed the part number on the inner pivot housing had a LH after it. Someone had previously put a left hand part on the right side. One of the more frustrating things I've run into.

I just put my new motors in today and the headlight wiring harness. Fought like the dickens to get the pass side motor to slide on the drive stud. 
The old motors just pulled right off. I feel your pain!
