Bracket Assembly Correct Color

Bracket Assembly Correct Color
Yesterday evening I went to a car show and noticed a very well restored 63. The fan shroud bracket assembly on that car was silver. The one on my 63 is black. (part #3797221, section 11-13, sheet 9.00 of the assembly manual) What color should the bracket be? (my guess is that the car at the show is correct, but would like to hear from you guys)

If you're talking about that top bracket....
that bolts with 2 bolts to the core support, goes over the radiator holding it with a rubber "U" device, and then bolts to the fan shroud,
It should be SG black, not silver. Chuck

It is the support bracket on the top center. I was sure that I had found another incorrect restoration on my car - good to hear something is right for a change.
