Anyone have or remember float level for 625 cfm afb? Setting up spare carb and missplaced instructions that came with kit. Thanks Don

Different AFB models had different float settings. But they're all within a 1/16 of an inch from one another. You may wish to set the float high or low to accomplish something. But they're all going to be close.

Quick way is to turn the air horn upside down. The floats should be parallel to the air horn surface. Will be about 1/4" away. It's the parallel that counts. Not the distance.

I don't have one handy. Otherwise I'd go get it. The ST-12 has a great section on rebuilding AFBs. The ST-12 will give you the exact measurement.

i used to just turn the top over and use a 1/4" drill bit to set the distance, like Chris said, parallel all the length of the float.
