CAM Description
I have a cam that was manufactured by TRW. The #TM-274. The intent is to put this in a 245hp dual quad '61 vette. Is there anything you can tell me about this cam i.e. stock, 3/4, full??? Thanks

That would be a good cam for a 245 HP restoration. It went into production in 1967 and became the service replacement for the previous hydraulic lifter cam (except L-79) back to '57. The GM part number is 3896929 that has since been replaced by 14088839, which is essentially identical to the 929.
It's a mild cam that will idle smooth and have good low end torque - 194/202 duration at .050" lifter rise, 108/116 C/Ls, 112 LSA. If you want to goose top end power without hurting low end torque too much, massage the heads and retard the cam 4 degrees unless it's a Powerglide.
