Here are a couple of pictures of an FI unit that I saw at the NCRS Nationals at St. Louis in '81.
I know almost nothing about this unit. The person who had it said that some (how many??) were installed on taxi cabs.
That's the best I can tell you. Now, can someone fill in any blanks?
that is COOL..!!!! it is obviously a modification of some kind, but it seems for the most part to use standard parts from some source, especially the air meter. the adapter manifold seems to be special though as it has bosses for mounting the fuel nozzle blocks as the original nozzle blocks mount on the plenum.
given that the fuel lines are plastic, it apparently doesn't use a high pressure fuel pump, nor can i see any provision for the usual cable driven pump.
What you see is what I know.
The guy said they were used on taxi cabs and that's all the information that I have. The ONLY reason that I've kept these pictures all these years is because of my love for FI.

you need to go over to yellowtaxiforum.com and check over there.....
Coke can appears to be from an "off shore" origin. If you ever get out of the states you see "way different" packaging of the products we use here in the USA
