Default 1966 Knockoff wheels

Need to get a little help here. I purchased a set of knockoff wheels for my 66 and I've got one small problem. The previous owner had damaged one of the rims (I'd like to replace it but can't identify the manufacturer) The wheel is marked "KMC" and has the following numbers on the backside... 306065, and what looks like a date code: 3 20 01 Can anyone helpl out with this? Thanks, Tony.

KMC makes wheels [rims], don't think they make KOs any longer - here is a lone KMC KO rim with a Coker Goldline that was sold on ebay back in March:

I guess my point is that there are lone KMC KOs for sale here and there, but it's kind of a long shot. I might be wrong about this though.

I have a set of KMC knock off wheels on my car and wanted a spare. I ordered a spare from Volunteer Vette for $299. When it came I was surprised to find I could not tell the difference between it and my KMC wheels. Their wheel was mfg by Corvette America.

If you insist on replacement rather then repair, I'm sure you would be happy with the wheel from VV.

Also if your looking for points on judging I think your KMC wheels would be incorrect and a deduct even if they were all matching and dated. Others can clarify this, I won't pretend to be an expert on this.

Later....vetzs

Default Thanks for the Info!

I know Adam at Volunteer Vettes fairly well. I'll give him a call. Thanks again.
