Default 60 centerforce clutch adjustment

Is the proper clutch adjustment on a 60 with a new centerforce clutch is to have a 1-1/2 inch free play at the top? Meaning as I slowly depress the pedal I start to feal resistance at 1 and1/2 inches? Is this correct?

I have a Centerforce in a 66 and adjusted it per the AIM and have ~the same free play.

Yep, that's the way I set the Centerforce in my 58 and love it, in fact if memory serves that's the way Centerforce recommends.

Enjoy.
