How do you adjust the headlight assemblies??

besides, it sounds like your painter is a bit stressed.
If he has painted these cars before, he should already know that many of these buckets can be a pain in the a... If they haven't been R&R before, the old steel bearings (*****) are usely frozen, rusted up, among other things, as said above, should be rebuilt.By reading your post above, it just sounds like to me, your painter needs some time off anyway. If you want the best paint job you can get, the last thing you want is a painter stressed over frozen *****.

BTW as said below, you can just remove them from the car, strip the end shafts, collars, nylon pieces, etc out, then clean the buckets and have em painted off the car. You get a better job this way too. Just 2 cents.
