I’m looking for a Chevrolet/Corvette book that will give me cross-references for part numbers. In other word, if the part number for the left exhaust manifold on my car is 1234567, what other Chevrolet/Corvette part number would also work but was not original equipment for this particular car.
I am thinking of purchasing a “barn find” (a ’57) with a lot of missing parts. I would like to restore as a driver but not necessarily with original parts, but with parts that would be functionally the same such as the exhaust manifolds, bellhousing etc..
Anybody familiar with such books?
Thanks,

The books that the wrecking yards use are published by Hollander. There are always a bunch of them for auction on Ebay. Do a search on "Hollander", and I'm sure you'll come up with a few books.

I wasn't crazy, honest. That's the name. I have it somewhere. It's OK, as I recall. Nothing special. Tells you stuff you already know for the most part. Chuck
