All you need to align the rear end is a carpenters level, chalk, string, a steel rule, a 15 inch piece of wood, and a level floor.
The tool you are asking about is the type I used to align the front of these cars when they were new and I worked for dealers. Before lasers, before computers, before the dark times.......
Spend the $79.99 and get a 4 wheel thrust angle alignment. Worth the money and the laser does not lie.
If the laser doesn't lie, some of the operators do. I had my 66 done at a shop with laser aligment equipment and the car handled badly. I had watched them beating shims into the gaps between the frame and rear control arms for an hour. I took the car to another shop, where the operator said the previous job was all screwed up, but the job he did wasn't a big improvement - he said he couldn't get the rear right - there must be something wrong with the frame. A frame check showed it within spec.
I layed the rear alignment out on the floor of my garage and set the rear end up zero camber .125 toe and zero thrust angle. Then I took it back to the second shop, where the operator pronounced the laser agreed with my rear alignment, and I finally got the front end aligned right.
Paid for two 4wheel alignments, a frame check, and a front end alignment - got a front end alignment out of the deal. Whoopee.

Business opportunity for someone who knows how to align cars in your neighborhood! you still have to know what the heck you are doing as the laser just gives you the numbers, not correct process.
