Fast idle problems
I have a 67, 327 4sp.and have a hard time getting the idle to come down to 750RPM, it wants to stay up at the 1000 rpm level. I have a Eldrbrook carb and it is off the high cam from the choke and the idle set screw is set at 750rpm. I seem to only get the idle down when I come to a stop and let the clutch out with the brake on and then it will come down and stay down until I step on the gas peddle. The carb. linkage seem to be OK. it worked good at the beginning of the summer when I put this carb. on.
