Default '64 Frame replacement

I'm looking for a replacement frame for my 1964. Does anyone know any reputable suppliers? I'm aware of the replacement sections available, but the frame on this car is so bad, I don't think I have anything good to weld to!

Are you looking for a 64 frame. or would you settle for any C2 frame? Coupe or convertible?

I will have my 65 Vert frame (complete rolling chassis) for sale around the first of the year (maybe sooner) I do however want to sell it with the engine (NOM350) trans (TKO 600), and all suspension components. It has a 4:11 rear diff.

Google VETTE PRODUCTS in Michigan-they reproduce the chassis.

I purchased a new 64 frame from Vette Products of Michigan and was very satisfied. The frame that I purchased reflected the 63 and 64 model year that are slightly different than the 65, 66 and 67.

Good Luck,

Eddie

I have a Vette Products frame under my 63 and it fit and looks very good.

To those of you that used the reproduced frame from Vette products-did you have any issues using their frame? I spoke to a rep there and he said they are using the original equipment from AO Smith and that the frame would be just like the original. Would you concur?

Seeing as how they are local, I went to view their latest offering and I was quite impressed. I don't think I would ever purchase the Stainless Steel frame, but the stock frame was equally as nice. And at $4K, it seems to be a good deal........

The only thing missing was the holes for the brake and fuel lines. Everything on the frame was exactly like the original. The only issue I had was that I had to send it out to get sandblasted and powder coated.

Does Rowley Corvette manufacture their own frames or are they simply a retailer of these frames?
Their C2/C4 frames look like a deal, but not keen on shipping from MA.

When I was at Rowley Corvette they indicated to me that the frames are supplied by a current OEM supplier to GM. They claimed the supplier is local to them.....

Again, the frames looked of very good quality, and the welds were well done. Probably by robot. The holes were there for both gas and brake lines. The had two basic set ups, the original C2 suspension and the newer C4 suspension. Currently in the works are plans for C5/C6 suspension......
