re voltage reg.

Default re voltage reg.

does anyone know the number of the voltage reg. number and make for 63 car i think it was a wells number ?and also a horn relay with the right plug lay out.. thanks harry

63s used a Delco 1119512 VR. From about May on there were some Delco 1119515 VR mixed in . As for the horn relay 63s used a Delco 1115824. The # 824 and 12V was stamped on the under side of the mounting flange.

I have gone solid-state (and incorrect) with a Wells VR715. Works very well.



My horn relay is NAPA HR135. I replaced the fusible link (in grey) at the same time.

Paul67 - did you get a new radio noise suppresion condenser for it at the local auto store too, or is thatan old one all polished up?

The noise capacitor was sent to me by a Forum member. He had a spare that originally came from LICS. Their Section #53, part 03D ($20.00).
