shortening glove box for Vintage Air
Guys,
I am just finishing up installing Vintage Air in my 65 coupe. The instructions say that I can reuse the orginal glove box. I am worried that it will push the air duct into the windshield wiper mechanism. Does anyone have experience in shortening the box? I'm thinking about 2"

this is a great system, I had a R134 leak after 2 years and they sent me a new dryer and condensor free...
i had no problems using the original box. I tied the ac ducts to a bolt or two with plastic ties to clear everything in front of the glove box and away from the wiper arms. It is a tight fit.... Chuck

Didn't have to shorten mine, but it was a very tight fit. I did the same as Chuck (67green) - tied everything back with zip ties the best I could, then snaked it in.
