Default Bubba was here.

Today Bubba came over and helped me remove the heater assembly for a refurb. I took it out and Bubba filled the hole in the firewall so we could still cruise during the refurb.

Actually, I believe that is below Bubba's standard. He would have painted it the correct flat black...

And my .02 cents worth.... a real Bubba would have drank the case of beer first to make the carton available.....

Wait a minute, that's sounds like a really great idea!!!!!

Reckon your right about that one. He was gonna use a license plate, but it was too much work to cut it and all. Lazy ****.

Speaking of license plates, Bubba had cut a hole in my floor right above the rear driveshaft u-joint and instead of repairing the floor properly, he pop rivited a license plate over the hole!! At least he used a New Jersey license plate since it was a New Jersey titled car.

Reminds me of the time a clown at a local collision shop was repairing the rotten rear quarter on a Camaro.Cut a piece out of a GM parts box, stuffed it in the hole and mudded it up,then stood back and told everyone within earshot that he always used GM parts.........boxes. diz

I can relate to this completely. Being a born and raised NJ guy, we know the value and usefulness of NJ license plates. At one point I repaired an exhaust leak with NJ license plate, liquid metal, and some hose clamps. I thought I had done such a great job until I hit a railroad crossing and thought the bottom fell out..... in fact it did.

Wipers ? We don't need no stinkin' wipers....

It's been going in for paint in a month or so for the last two years or so now, I just haven't been able to bring myself to take it apart again, but this year is the year, so no sense putting the wiper crap back on. Rain-X. works fine.

I did however want to get the heater core and control valve replaced before paint. Maybe some new AFR heads as well.

All you need to do is remove the cardboard for ventilation, who needs a fan motor!

Mine had a hole cut in the same place? Always wondered why.

my .02 worth re the hole: Isn't there a piece of throttle linkage that might rub up against that bubba patch and short something out?
