It's amazing what you can do with some sheet metal, a set of numeric dies and a few rivets these days.

How did this car get Bloomington Gold with a known restamped block?

Ugh!! I can deal with "The Last Sting Ray" (2 words) because I know that 67 was the last year Chevy used 2 word Sting Ray to badge the cars. (Although print ads for the 68 corvette did refer to the car as a Sting Ray)
But I just watched the trailer, and of course they refer over and over to the Last "Sting Ray" which sounds exactly like "Stingray" and this makes me gag every time I hear it. Totally misleading to an uneducated public. Hence forward 69 (and later) corvette owners will be asked, "Is that a 66? I know it can't be later than 67 because I saw that show on TV and the last Sting_ray was a 67."
Hyping the market value of Proteam's property is more important than historical accuracy or educating the public.

Oh the drama.... The matching numbers block has been damaged. Without it the value of the car could be seriously compromised.....

I must have missed the re-stamp part, 15 mins ago they were looking to weld the broken starter pad.

They seem to have failed to mention the restoration engine part.

So far it would make for a nice show even without the last Sting Ray angle.
