Default vin # help

I am curious on the date code of a particular vin and I don't have anyway to verify here at work today. Can someone help?

It is Pad #0576047F56F

Casting 3720991


Also, there is another one with this pad # 075089F56G

That's not a VIN - it's an engine serial number for a 1956 passenger car 2-barrel Powerglide engine; 1956 was the last year for the "engine serial number". All 1956 Corvette engines had a 2-digit suffix, and the practice of stamping the car's VIN derivative on the front pad didn't start until mid-1960. The other one with the "G" suffix is a '56 passenger car manual transmission engine.
