Take the time to inquire as to the PC used. PC can be done in various techniques, and application specific materials. I'm currently doing trials on Marine application for Stainless Steel. I've learned a lot and was surprised to find that there is even a primer for better bonding of coatings. Dupont Rep. is working with me on this trial. Al W.
Becareful when you use sad to blast the rims. The beads can get stuck in the crevises(spelling?) and when you pc the rim it will not look to good in those spots. You might want to find someone that uses walnut shells instead of glass bead.
67vetteal gave some good advise. Make sure you find out what they use to prep the parts or if they do anything at all. Preping the product is extremely important as the powder will bond better and not chip or flake. See if the acid etch the parts first. We own a powder coating plant and we are the 3rd largest in FL so I have some experience it powder too.
What is the thinking of a process known as soda ash. I understand it works well with none of the problems of sand.

I've used soda blasting a few times, with a water, and air pressure blaster, it works great, but leaves everything wet. So quick dry and rust preventive is a must. And like any other blasting it is a mess, and wet too.
Just take them to your local chrome shop and have them dipped....it cleans all the paint and crud off of them real nice...thats unless they have rust in the tight areas
