possible solution to venting crankcase
I have been doing a little searching on google and found this set up for venting the crankcase through the fuel pump area. If you run an external pump (like in the tank for EFI) then this might be a set up.

That's a possibility, but you'd need some very effective baffling at the fitting - there's a LOT of oil flying around down there (unlike in the lifter valley, which is more vapor than oil).
