ISI replacement clock
Has anyone used ISI electronic clock kit?
I did the conversion, though I must say the plastic housing they use it not the best. The mounting pins that you slip through the rubber grommets to attach it to your original back plate are a bit short. One of them anyway is about .020 too short and you cant get the clip on it!!! I had to omit the little copper flashed cups and grind away some of the rubber grommet just to barley get the clips on. I wonder why they don't drill the injection mold a few thousands deeper, there is plenty of room on the back side. Very simple fix but most parts manufactures just don't seem to care. What a nightmare- typical parts/raw materials........
