radiator support install help
I replaced rad support with a new one. 64 coupe. Whats the correct procedure for installation? I'm thinking secure support to the fenderwell, then shim the frame mount on each side so the shims are a snug fit with the front nose unsupported, the maybe add one more shim to each side? Then install nose support rods?

The HL support rods should be independent of the front end shimming. Assuming the replacement is correctly made it should be pretty much drop in and bolt up, with the original shimming. But, if you do need some extra shimming I would lightly support the front end and fill in with the necessary shims
