C1 inside trunk fender texture or no?
I have seen the inside of a few C-1 trunks and noticed that some have a texture similar to an undercoat look with paint applied over it and some without the texture. In the cases where the owner is available, I've asked -is the texture correct for the trunk? In every case they've answered -yes. On the other hand, when I visit with the non-textured owners, they too answer -no texture.
My question: Are the inside fenders of C-1's textured or not?
If you know for sure, please let me know...I appreciate the time you take to answer the question.
Respectfully,

My 1962 has a rough finish in the trunk interior fiberglass, but definitely not due to undercoating - just the rough side of a moulded panel.
This car is known to me going back to the mid 70s before I owned it, and I do not believe it ever was tampered with.

Ya made me trot down to the garage & uncover MY '62, which I've had since early 1967; it is NOT "smooth" It doesn't have the ROUGH texture of "popcorn" ceilings in older houses, either. When you run your fingers over the inside, you can feel the (minor) rough texture
