I created a help FAQ thread.

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=1550311

Posts 5 and 6 should tell you what you want to know. On most systems a file with a .pdf extension will automatically open in Adobe Acrobat. No real difference between an img or pdf file except how the browser displays it.

What i have are pdf files of the Black Book that i want to post in certain situations when people ask about certain years.

These files are scanned on my printer and are automatically converted to pdf files and saved in a folder to my computor.

What are the steps to post pdf files on threads on the CF???

You will have to "host" them somewhere like photobucket.

I do not even know if it is possible. But what do you have to lose?

Looks like you are a supporting member so use post 6 to attach files. As a supporting member you are given space on CF for this type of stuff.
