Default Complete Electrical Failure on a '66 Convertable - Problem Solved

After driving may car about a week and half ago I experienced a complete electrical failure after I tuned the ignition key off; no lights, horn, starter circuit, nothing. After receiving many useful suggestions from forum members I finally found the problem. It turned out to be the ring connector on the starter solenoid for the red and black wires that go the engine compartment wiring loom. The connector was tight enough to look normal but when I pulled on it, it came right off. Replaced connector and everything works normally.

Many thanks to all of you that provided me with input about potential problems and what to look for.
