Here in the Northwestern Rocky Mountains of MT, the outside temperature is minus fourteen degrees with a light snowfall .

Way, way too cold to go out to my shop to work on my 'Vette .

Right now, justifying living up in the mountains and away from the lower altitudes and people, seems to be escaping me as to why I chose to live up here .

What are environmental conditions where you live given these recent 'weather' conditions .

Anyone truly suffering like I think I am? .

Sunny and 78 in Sebring Fl. It was 72 last night at 8 PM as I drove home in the '59 from a cruise-in with the top down and 60's rock and roll on the XM radio. Save the Wave.

The climate is just crazy. It's 27F here in Ontario, Canada with little or snow. Might be 2-3" tonight. I pay a contractor each year to blow my driveway and he has not been here once. Profits piling up for him. This is very unusual. Normally we would have 0 to 10F temps and a solid snow cover.

Here in Putnam Valley, NY, 50 miles north of NYC, It is currently about 40 degrees and raining. Last Saturday, the temp was almost 70 degrees !!! We haven't had any snow yet either. This coming week is supposed to be colder--in the low 30's--more normal for this area and this time of year.

High today about 20 deg., with freezing rain / sleet / and a little mix of snow. Last week it was in the 60's - Winter finally hit the great plains of Kansas.

drizzle and mist all day today. About 50 degrees. We, too, have not had any snow yet this year. The temps have been about 15 to 20 degrees above normal all "winter". By this time of year, I've usually plowed my drive 4 or 5 times, usually with snowfalls of about 4 to 8 inches. So far, nothing. Nada. Dunno why I even hooked up the plow.

Well, it was 16 degrees with snow, sleet, and muck on the ground when I left Bonner Springs Kansas this morning. Now that I'm home in Texas it's 73 degrees with a cool front on the way.

Spent the last two days working outside in the garage. I washed all three vehicles and then swapped my wheels on the vette. Then with it being so nice out 74 degrees today, I went out for about a 100 mile ride around Eastern North Carolina.. The top was down the sun was out I am a happy man to be riding around in January.. Dave

33* and light rain in Elmira, NY this weekend. Spent the weekend in my garage at a dry 68* (heated with my Reznor ceiling mounted gas heater). Sure has spoiled me compared to the past two winters without heat.

Hey Pete,

I'm just on the other side of the hill from you in Lewistown, two days ago the high temp was -4. Been well below zero last few nights but today it warmed up toabout 15 above. WAAAAYYYY to cold for vettes. So instead I went out to the shop and spent the last couple days making brats, salami and jerky

Well, at our Front Range Colorado abode (where the '66 presently lurks), its approaching 0 with some (more) light snow. Fortunately, I am NOT there!!!!!

However, at our Hill Country Texas abode (where the '66 will be sometime....maybe this year....), there is a WINTER STORM WARNING for tomorrow and Tuesday. WTF!!!!! After 45 years shovelling hard white water in sunny Colorado, we decide to retire to a nice climate, only to get a WINTER STORM WARNING dropped on us..... THIS is my just reward for sending a pic to all my CCC buds and others last Friday of me driving around, top-down, in 75° temps that day....

So....Hill Country and San Antonio folks...... I accept responsibility for this twist of South Texas weather.....

Please don't kill me.

Well, lets see. I've just got power back on that has been out for two days. Ice bringing down trees everywhere including my roof. 32 degrees with thankfully ice free roads. Spring can't get here soon enough!!

In Southern California we are experiencing record cold....citrus is freezing. Very unusual for us.

Global warming must be on the other end...
