I have one more question. I'm trying to research these #'s on the heads and the block. They are the same. I think it is the engine assembly date? #57058??

You will find the assembly date "stamped" on the pad.
The cast date of the block and heads will be in the form of "letter" A-L (month: Jan-Dec) 1-31 (day of the month), single digit year (2-7). At least on this block. Something like A 10 6 (Jan 10, 1966) as an example.
Other may have two digit year.

yes, I am with you, see my post above; but to be completely accurate, it was used in other GM cars after 65
