"pipers"
Can anyone advise if Pipers is a reputable place to get parts? They have a part I need, but I have never heard of them or purchased from them. Just curious. Thanks.

Very reputable-he has a ridiculous amount of parts. Very honest about condition of parts. He has been around for 30 years of so. Some find him expensive but he does have the parts. He is also part of 4 speeds by Darrell-the absolute best when it comes to restoring/rebuilding 4 speeds and rear ends.

They appear to be very reputable, but as a previous poster mentioned, maybe a bit expensive.
The previous owner of my 59 project bought a number of parts from them. For example, he bought both doors, fully loaded and reconditioned and they cost $1600 each, including $100 to ship each door to Washington state. The doors are very good with the exception of the chrome on one doorpost....it is somewhat tarnished looking.
I would consider buying from Pipers if I really wanted a part I could not find elsewhere.

I emailed them about a part I needed. They replied very promptly with an answer. A sign for me to tell if they have their act together knowing what the have in stock and such.
The worst ones are usually "let me get back to you" and never do.
