Block/head numbers help
Numbers on a 350 (?) out of a friend's Chevelle: block 3976818 dated C208 with heads 3878497 dated A3071...pad is blank. I've checked the usual sites but can't find either number to identify motor. Any help appreciated.

You need to check again: iron flash sometimes makes it hard.
Here are your heads (probably) 3973487....71-72...350..........used on 71-72 350 LT1, 75cc chamber
Your block (probably) 3970010....350...69-80...2 or 4
