Default Need some numbers help

Been a while since I posted, but I need some help from the Forum members on a big block engine.

Heads
Passenger side: 6272292
PASS
GM13T
L971

Drivers side: 6272292
PASS
GM13T
L271

Block
Front pad: 121175191
TI215CTB

Rear pass. side: K1071

Rear driver side: 3999290
CONV 1
G (or C) M 9T

According to the Mortec site I think I have a 402ci. 2 or 4 bolt, truck engine. But I'm not sure about the rest of the engine numbers. Maybe a 1971 402ci. assembled on November 10, 1971?

I think the heads are 1970 thru 1978 oval port, 402 or (and) 454 heads. Maybe cast on December 2, 1971?

Any idea on horse power rating for the base engine, or any other relevent information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Tod

Thanks everyone! I bought another car, but it's not a vette. I bought a 66' chevelle coupe in 1988 (an automatic) and restored it over the next seven years converting it to a 4 sp. This was before the internet and while on a shoestring budget with two young children; then I sold it in 1995.

Twelve years later, the same owner is selling it back to me. It needs some TLC, but the basics are all there. Big block, Weind intake, Holley carb, headers, Harrison 4 core radiator, 4sp. Muncie (not sure which M-20 or M-21) and 12 bolt posi rear. I plan on re-doing the interior and some other things. Son and I are planning to do it together and I'm going to teach him how to drive a 4 spd.

Thanks Again everyone
Tod

Sure...I just don't want to take up too much space on this forum, after all, it's not a vette By the way, these two pics are from 1989 -1990 I think.

Tod,

Your Chevelle looks good. Here is what I found on the CTB code 396/402:
1972 CTB Camaro 396 240 TH AR
1972 CTB Camaro 402 240 TH AR
1972 CTB Chevelle 402 240 TH AR
1972 CTB Chevrolet 402 210 Mt AR
1972 CTB Chevrolet 396 210 Mt AR
1972 CTB Chevelle 396 240 TH AR

I should have some good 66 plates for you before the weather gets good enough to drive your Chevelle.
Later,
Dave
