Default Early 63 Split Window Decals

Can someone tell me if the decal on the overflow tank is correct for early 63? Also have a warning sticker that after 12-62 from what I have read, is located on the upper left side of the radiator and may obscure the part number. My car was born on I believe 01-03-63, serial number, 30837S106252.

Not sure about the decal, but you need to re-connect the hoses at the top of the tank. The hose you have connected right under the cap is supposed to be the overflow hose, and should be a plain thin-walled rubber hose that just hangs straight down next to the frame. The hose you have on there now goes to the other fitting on the tank, which is the feed from the top of the radiator.

Your inspection number is correct. The actual warning label was on the overflow tank on real early cars. it was relocated to the upper radiatior ( Driver's side ) Later on. Your car was built 3 weeks before mine, and my tank has the sticker "3" like yours. Now, go get the hose fixed !!

Tom, I hope you moved that bolt before you closed the hood?

Hood is not on yet Thanks for the info, Can anyone tell me where the warning label should be located on my car? If located on the overflow tank, where do you locate it?
Thanks everyone, yes the hose is relocated already

Your coolant warning label will go on the radiator. Top of driver's side. Cars built prior to 12-62 had the label on the surge tank. Sent you a PM .
