Default Dead Directionals

I'm sure this has come up before, but a quick forum search didn't turn up what I'm looking for:

Took the Vette for a drive Sunday, and found that I had no directional signals. No dash light, no "clicking" noise, and certainly no lights. Worked the weekend before, but not this drive. Brake lights work, as do all other lights.

All fuses appear OK. Replaced the flasher (Car Quest unit #FSH552, pictured below--the round aluminum cylindrical deal in the upper right corner of the fuse panel) thinking that would take care of the problem, but nothing, still.

Any suggestions? Is there a fuse that might have blown but looks fine? If so, which one? I can't find any that relate to the directional signals.

Thanks in advance for any tips on what I should check out.

Did you check all of the fuses?

Isn't the round thingy on the radio side cover the flasher for the turn signals?

I just edited my original post to include a photo of the flasher I installed.

Help!

Default Check the wiring at the steering column

The flasher on my 65 is mounted to the left side radio trim panel, not the fuse box.

In any event, before I rewired my 65, I too lost my signal lights one day. I found that the wiring harness that is supposed to be clipped to the base of the steering column, was instead hung up in the clutch linkage and pressing in the clutch a few too many times partially separated the wiring connectors. After putting the connectors back together (and mounting them to the column where they belonged) my problems were solved.

Geoff,
On occasion I have push this connector back together. This is most likely your problem.
